Heat Treatment

A heat treated pallet is a pallet in which the core has been heated to 56 degrees Celsius for a minimum of 30 minutes. This complies with ISPM #15 of the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures. Each pallet that has been heat treated is stenciled with a logo and a number indicating the company that performed the heat treatment. Heat treatment is required for export shipments to most countries.
